View Rachel's BioOn December 3, 2012, I was given a tour of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority's (MWRA) facilities at Deer Island. Kristen Patneaude, my tour guide and project manager for the MWRA, showed me their various renewable energy installations around the island. It was an unexpectedly gorgeous day for December, making it the perfect time to take pictures of wind turbines and solar panels!

Sharp article and a point well made. I did have a ntsoalgic moment for the good old days when phones and faxes did it all. Legitmate news sources are changing rapidly, as you rightly point out, with news reporters quoting facebook et al as part of their stories. And at least if the power goes down, we can still communicate via our iphones!
